14th Tee Off for Testicular Cancer: A Hole-in-One for Awareness

The 14th Tee Off for Testicular Cancer tournament, held on April 18 at Sewells Point Golf Course, was the first of its kind on the East Coast and was a resounding success—raising a net of more than $30,000 thanks to all the volunteers, generous sponsors, in-kind contributions, and golfers! This helps us greatly in continuing our mission.

With perfect weather and an incredible turnout, the event brought together a passionate community ready to drive home the importance of testicular cancer awareness and early detection through the practice of monthly self-exams.

This year’s tournament was proudly presented by Fennec Pharmaceuticals, who not only supported the event but also joined in on the action by sending a player to participate. The tournament was emceed by testicular cancer survivor and U.S. Air Force veteran, actor and comedian BJ Lange, whose humor and heart kept the energy high throughout the day.

A special thank you to Steven Crocker — testicular cancer survivor, Testicular Cancer Awareness Foundation board member, and host of our It Takes Balls podcast — for hosting his first golf tournament to benefit TCAF; thanks to all his hard work, it was a great success! His dedication helped bring this impactful day to life with a silent auction, a fun “Most Balls Lost” trophy, contests, fun prizes like CaddySack golf gift sets, Vice Golf Towels, and a year’s supply of NADS underwear, and so much more.

Thank you to all who came out in support. Your generosity helps us raise life-saving awareness and continue providing resources for those affected by testicular cancer. We’re already looking forward to next year!
