Testicles cannot be donated, transplanted or sold.

There is currently no medical, surgical, or organ-donor process that allows a testicle to be donated to another person.

Testicular transplants are not possible. There is no research study, clinical trial, or organ-donor pathway that supports testicle donation or transplantation.

Can testicles be sold?

No. Selling a testicle is illegal.

The sale or purchase of human organs or body parts is prohibited under U.S. law and international medical ethics standards. The Testicular Cancer Awareness Foundation does not participate in, support, or facilitate the sale of organs or tissue in any form.

We are unable to respond to or engage with requests involving the sale of a testicle.

What happens to a testicle removed during surgery?

When a testicle is removed during surgery (orchiectomy), it is sent to pathology for diagnostic evaluation and then handled according to medical and regulatory standards. It cannot be donated, sold, or reused.

Why do people ask this?

We recognize that some inquiries come from financial hardship or a desire to help others. While we understand why people may ask, testicle donation or sale is not medically or legally possible.

For clarity and accuracy, we cannot support or discuss these requests further.

Meaningful ways to help instead

If you are looking for legitimate ways to support the testicular cancer community, you can:

  • Share accurate educational information

  • Encourage early detection and testicular self-exams

  • Help raise awareness and reduce stigma

  • Support the Testicular Cancer Awareness Foundation through a financial contribution that helps fund education, awareness, and patient resources

These efforts make a real difference.
