On Ball For TC

One Ball For TC mission is to raise awareness about testicular cancer and support those in treatment. Submit a support request application to be considered for a grant. One Ball For TC will assist with medical costs not covered by insurance, travel and lodging, and daily living expenses.

*Financial support is limited to those in Western New York and surrounding areas.


The SAMFund

The SAMFund provides financial assistance grants to young adult cancer survivors or those currently going through treatment. We proudly provide financial assistance to young adults as they regain momentum in their lives after cancer. Click here for more information and to see if you are eligible.


Cancer Care Financial Assistance

The financial costs associated with cancer are often overwhelming. Even having health insurance doesn’t guarantee you’ll be able to afford treatment. It’s best to start researching your options before a financial crisis develops. This site provides information on government assistance, pharmaceutical assistance programs, other cancer organizations and general organizations that may be able to assist.


Scott’s Circle of Love

Scott Schoenthal’s Circle of Love is finding families and lifting some of their burdens because cancer stepped in and changed their lives forever - in honor of Scott Schoenthal. Some of the ways SSCL helps families is by paying a mortgage or rent payment, hiring a maid service for cancer fighters, provide snacks for chemo rooms and helps pay utility bills.


Allyson Whitney Foundation 

The Allyson Whitney Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization that empowers and fights for the interests of young adults with rare cancers. Our vision is to improve the quality of life, as well as provide emotional support for patients. Allyson Whitney Foundation primarily provides individuals with ‘life interrupted grants’™ to ease their financial burden so that they can concentrate their energy on healing.  Each number and statistic represents a person that someone loves...


The Ulman Foundation

The Ulman Foundation is committed to helping young adults (ages 15-39) continue their education after their own cancer diagnosis or the diagnosis of a loved one. This is a program for college students to receive scholarships paid directly to the recipients school.


Cancer.net

Cancer.net offers a variety of resources for anyone diagnosed with cancer. They offer a list of national and local service organizations, housing, travel assistance and more. Click here for more information.


Lace ‘Em Up

If you or someone you know are experiencing hardship as a result of a testicular cancer diagnosis, we are here to help. Please fill out their submissions short form, and we will get back to you as soon as possible. As a survivor of testicular cancer, I fully understand what you are going through, and Lace 'Em Up NFP will do what it can to support you in your battle.

Verna’s Purse

Verna’s Purse is a program designed to help cancer patients who face economic hardship. If you are concerned if you can afford to preserve your fertility and/or afford to keep your specimens already in storage, review the application to see if you qualify for financial assistance through Verna’s Purse.


ReUnite Assist For Vets

The MDR Fertility Pharmacy offers the ReUnite Assist For Vets program where they give 25% off select fertility medications for active-duty military members and veterans. Visit their website to see more information and enrollment requirements.


Anna’s Gift Compassionate Assistance for Financial Hardship

ReproTech offers discounted storage fees for individuals who are going through financial hardship through Anna’s Gift Compassionate Assistance Program. If you have decided to store your specimens at ReproTech, you may qualify for financial assistance. Please contact the ReproTech office in the state you specimens are stored.


Angel Flight West has a network of volunteer pilots that provide free medical transportation to those in need. Any transportation needed for medical care will be cost-free to you, even if you have multiple trips.

Qualifying for Disability

If you or a loved one is struggling with testicular cancer, you maybe be eligible for financial assistance. The Social Security Administration (SSA) is a government organization that offers help to those who can't work due to a disability.

If you have been denied for disability, ask why and then reapply. It can take a couple of times to be approved.


Legal Resources for Cancer Patients

CancerCare has legal resources for cancer patients. Patients have certain rights that are protected by law, regardless of diagnosis. During their treatment, patients may experience legal issues with their employers, health insurance companies, government benefits and even their estate planning. 


Support for College Students with Cancer

It is estimated that one of every 100 college students is a cancer survivor. Every cancer story is different and so is every treatment. With the possibility of varying side effects it is common it could hinder a college students academic success.

Medication Management for cancer patients

Medication is a critical aspect of cancer treatment and recovery. Medications given by your care team work best when given at the proper doses and times. SingleCare offers a guide to help patients and caregivers successfully manage the storage, dosage, and other circumstances related to cancer medication.


Amgen FIRST STEP Program

The Amgen FIRST STEP Program helps eligible commercially insured patients pay for their out-of-pocket prescription costs, including deductible, co-insurance, and co-payment. Program covers out-of-pocket medication costs for the Amgen product only. Program does not cover any other costs related to office visit or administration of the Amgen product. Patient is responsible for costs above the maximum benefit amounts detailed below. Maximum benefit of $10,000 per patient per calendar year.

Southwest Airlines Medical Transportation Grant Program

Southwest Airlines Medical Transportation Grant Program provides complimentary, round-trip tickets to nonprofit hospitals and medical transportation organizations to disburse to their patients. The program was created to provide much-needed assistance to medical patients and their family members who are traveling for specialized life-saving or life-changing medical care. Thereby, giving patients (and their families) peace of mind about how they get to the care they need.

Anthony Zuber Financial Assistance Recipients Testicular Cancer Survivor

TCAF's Financial Assistance Program is for families who are currently undergoing treatment for testicular cancer.  Please see eligibility requirements below before filling out your application. 

Applications are accepted and reviewed as received.

Eligibility Requirements & Stipulations

  1. You or someone in your IMMEDIATE family must be currently in treatment for testicular cancer.

  2. You must be willing to provide detailed financial information, as requested by TCAF.

  3. We do not pay co-pays or medical bills.

  4. If you are approved for a grant, we do not send cash. Depending on what assistance you qualify for, we will pay your mortgage/landlord directly or send a gift card for gas or groceries.

  5. To receive financial assistance from TCAF, you must show that you are in immediate financial need. We may require documentation that you have depleted other financial resources such as savings accounts, 401(k) investment and home equity.

  6. You may only apply one time per diagnosis. If you relapse, you may reapply.

  7. We encourage you to set up a personal fundraiser through GoFundMe before applying for a TCAF financial assistance grant. This online fundraising site allows for family and friends to give back in support of your fight.
