RACING FOR AWARENESS:
TCAF at the Indianapolis 500
Driving testicular cancer awareness and survivorship at the Indianapolis 500
The Testicular Cancer Awareness Foundation will be on site at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway to raise awareness and highlight survivorship at the world’s largest motorsport event - the Indianapolis 500.
Through its presence at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and a featured medical community event, the Testicular Cancer Awareness Foundation is bringing together racing fans and industry partners alike to advance awareness, education, and survivorship in testicular cancer care.
TCAF at Indianapolis Motor Speedway
From May 8 through May 24, the Testicular Cancer Awareness Foundation will maintain a dedicated awareness booth at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, providing educational resources, survivorship materials, and opportunities for doctors, industry partners, and race fans to engage directly with our mission. From practice days through race weekend, the booth will serve as a hub for raising awareness and connecting the motorsports community with critical information about early detection and long-term survivorship.
This presence reflects the Testicular Cancer Awareness Foundation’s commitment to raising awareness at the world’s largest motorsport event.
Indy’s Nuts - 150,000 Bags of Nuts
Yes, it’s exactly what it sounds like.
150,000 bags of these limited-edition peanuts will be handed out at the Testicular Cancer Awareness Foundation booth at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. It’s a fun way to start conversations about testicular cancer awareness and early detection.
In addition to early detection, Indy’s Nuts helps bring attention to what comes after treatment. Some chemotherapy used to treat testicular cancer can lead to hearing loss, a side effect that can impact daily life long after cancer is gone.
Stop by, grab a bag of Indy’s Nuts, and learn how a simple self-exam can save a life.
Our Racing & Industry Collaborations
Racing Partnership
Testicular Cancer Awareness Foundation’s Indy 500 programming is supported through a racing collaboration with INVST, Dreyer & Reinbold Racing, and the No. 24 Chevrolet driven by Jack Harvey.
Through this partnership, testicular cancer awareness is brought directly into the race environment, using the visibility of the Indianapolis 500 to reach a broader audience with important information about early detection and survivorship.
At the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, this collaboration supports on-site awareness efforts, including a dedicated Testicular Cancer Awareness Foundation booth offering educational resources, survivorship materials, and opportunities to connect with fans, doctors, and partners throughout race month.
The partnership also helps power campaign elements like Indy’s Nuts, using simple, in-person interactions to spark conversations and make awareness more approachable.
Sponsorship & Physician Engagement - In Collaboration with Fennec Pharmaceuticals
This program is made possible through the generous support of Fennec Pharmaceuticals, a specialty biopharmaceutical company dedicated to work in the neuro-ototoxicity space for patients with testicular cancer who are treated with cisplatin to reduce the risk of hearing loss.
Fennec’s sponsorship enables Testicular Cancer Awareness Foundation to create meaningful opportunities for physician engagement, peer-to-peer dialogue, and education in an innovative and memorable setting during race month.
Indianapolis Experience | Fast Friday, May 15
As part of our presence at the Indy 500, we will host a private event for doctors and medical experts on Fast Friday, the final full-field practice before qualifying.
This gathering creates space for connection, conversation, and shared insight outside of the clinical setting.
Highlighting Survivorship on Fast Friday
On Fast Friday, Alex Singleton will join the pit crew for Jack Harvey as an Honorary Pit Crew Member, helping spotlight survivorship during a key day of race week.
Alex was diagnosed with testicular cancer in November and underwent an orchiectomy before returning to the field just 23 days later as a linebacker for the Denver Broncos. His experience underscores the importance of early detection and how acting quickly can make a meaningful difference in recovery.
An advocate for the Testicular Cancer Awareness Foundation, he supported awareness efforts through the NFL’s My Cause, My Cleats program during a 27-26 overtime victory against Washington. He also attended the recent Check Your NADS March in Downtown Austin, TX on April 12, joining Testicular Cancer Awareness Foundation and NADS Organic Underwear to help bring visibility, conversation, and real impact to men’s health.
His story reflects the powerful connection between performance, recovery, and life beyond cancer.
